Ramalinga Raju's condition worsens

HYDERBAD: Former Satyam Computer chairman Ramalinga Raju’s health seems to be worsening everyday. Raju, who is being treated for Hepatitis C and
heart ailments at the Nizam Institute of Medical Sciences in Hyderabad, is now suffering from complications like bleeding from the nose.

“The medication is contradictory for two ailments due to which some of the complications have arisen. The side effects seem to be growing but medical management is on,” said a person familiar with the development.

Ramalinga Raju was admitted to NIMS in September after he complained of chestpain. He was later diagnosed with Hepatitis C and doctors had suggested that treatment should start early since complications like Hepatic coma, or even liver cancer, could make the disease incurable.
