Actor/director Prabhu Deva is directing Vishal in an untitled Tamil movie which is a remake of Telugu Gopichand-Anushka starrer Souryam. The movie is produced under Vishal’s home banner G.K. Films Corporation. But the decision that’s puzzled industry watchers is that Prabhu Deva, who shares a close relationship with Nayanthara, has chosen Trisha for the lead role instead of Nayan. Industry insiders reveal that Prabhu Deva is very clear about his priorities — he doesn’t want to mix his personal and professional lives.
Nayan had earlier teamed up with Vishal in Sathyam but the movie bombed at the box office. Currently Prabhu Deva is busy with Ich and Vishal is doing Avan Ivan with Bala.
