A large number of students of Delhi University on Wednesday held a protest march demanding arrest of the killer of a 21-year-old girl, who was shot dead outside her college in the national capital.
Holding placards, the students marched from Ramlal Anand College in DU South Campus towards India Gate. Radhika Tanwar, a second-year degree student, was killed outside the college in Dhaula Kuan's Shantiniketan area yesterday by a man, who is believed to have been stalking her for sometime.
The protesters raised slogans like "We want justice", demanding immediate arrest of the culprit.
The incident, ironically occurred on a day when the city was celebrating the international women's day, causing outrage among citizens as well as political leaders. Students had also held a protest by blocking traffic on the Ring Road yesterday.
