Karur Vysya Bank opens two new branches in Gwalior and Rajam


The branches are networked under Core Banking Solutions and have ATM facility. The ATM network of the bank has increased to 405.

Karur Vysya Bank, a leading private sector bank in the country opened two more branches today – Gwalior and Rajam (Andhrapradesh). With this, the total branch network of the bank has increased to 350.The branches are networked under Core Banking Solutions and have ATM facility. The ATM network of the bank has increased to 405. The ATMs can be used by the customers of other banks also.


The bank also launched KVB Travel Card, a Visa enable pre-paid card.


Shortly the bank will open its branches in Bhopal, Karnal, Chennai - Madipakkam Tiruverumbur and Porur.


Some of the financial highlights of Karur Vysya Bank (KVB) are:

Total business is presently at Rs. 34872 cr. with total deposits at Rs. 20400Cr and total advances at Rs. 14472Cr.

The net profit of the bank for Q1 was Rs. 84.48 cr.

The net owned funds of the bank are Rs. 1619.98 cr. as of 31st March 10
*

Capital Adequacy Ratio of 14.52% (Basel II) as against the RBI stipulated norm of 9%.

One of the lowest net NPA ratios in the country @ 0.17%.

The Bank has been earning profits since its inception and has been declaring dividend uninterruptedly

Declared 100% dividend since 2003-04. For 2005-06, 2007-08, 2008-09 and 2009-10, 2010-11 the dividend was 120%
