Ready to appear before PAC in 2G scam: Manmohan

New Delhi, Dec 20: Addressing the Congress Party's 83rd plenary, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh said that he is ready to appear in front of Public Accounts Committee (PAC) in connection with the 2G spectrum scam.

While addressing the session, PM on Monday, Dec 20 said that Congress and government have zero tolerance against corruption. He urged leaders to raise voice against the growing corruption in the country.

Manmohan Singh slammed Opposition parties for washing out the entire Winter Session of the Parliament. He said that Government had appointed Judicial committee to probe 2G scam and even Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) also started investigation. But Opposition demanded JPC probe and resulted the deadlock of Parliament.

PM said that Congress is the only party which can lead India forward. He asked Congress leaders and ministers to work for the common people. He insisted all Congress supporters to work for the elimination of corruption from the society.

Manmohan Singh praised Congress President Sonia Gandhi for her leadership. He said that all citizens are lucky to have Sonia as the leader.
