It has been forty years since South Indian Film Directors Association (SIFDA) formed and its members are all set to celebrate 40 years celebrations ‘D40’ on 23rd of October in Chennai. Tamil directors Bharathi Raja, Linguswamy, P. Vasu and Chinta Lakshman came to Hyderabad to invite Telugu directors to this event.
Telugu directors were elated with such a wonderful gesture and felicitated those Tamil directors in a grand manner. On this occasion, our directors recalled their fond memories of the times when Telugu cinema industry was located in Madras (now Chennai).
D. Ramanaidu, Raghvendra Rao, Kodi Ramakrishna, Mutyala Subbaiah, Krishnavamsi, Rajamouli, Bheemaneni Srinivasa Rao, Boyapati Srinu and others were present at this felicitation.
