Actress Pooja Batra, who recently walked the ramp at Van Heusen Men's Week, yet again stunned the audiences by becoming the showstopper for designer Babita Malkani's show at Lakme Fashion Week. (Text IANS)
The collection showcased was representation of the art form of Cappadocia which brought in distinctive Turkish elements into the collection. There were block prints that have been drawn from the Cappadocian art forms.
It had a unique mix of blues and browns, mixed with radical tie and dye techniques and layering of cutwork elements.
When asked what made her rope in Pooja as showstopper, Babita said: 'We both know each other for a long time. I thought only Pooja could justify the collection. Her Turkish eyes and height were perfect for the show.'
