CBI gets custody of Swami Asimanand

Swami Asimanand, an accused in the 2007 Mecca Masjid bomb blast case, was on Friday remanded to the CBI custody for seven days by a local court.

The prosecution had sought 15—day police custody of Asimanand, but the Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate allowed CBI to interrogate him for a week beginning tomorrow. — PTI
