Militant arrested for attacking J&K police station

Srinagar: Police on Saturday said it has arrested the youth who had fired the rifle grenade at Sopore Police station in north Kashmir's Baramulla district.


Tanveer Ahmad Seeru who carried out the attack on Sopore police station yesterday has been arrested, a police spokesman said, adding Seeru was also involv ed in several incidents of stone-pelting last year.



Militants had fired a rifle grenade at Sopore police station, resulting in injuries to six persons including a policeman.
