KAKINADA: Over 550 people from various parts of the district submitted their complaints and grievances to Collector M. Ravi Chandra and other officials during the weekly ‘Grievance Cell' programme held at Collectorate here on Monday.
The complaints and grievances were segregated department-wise and were forwarded to the departments concerned. Grievances pertaining to pensions, ration cards and family problems topped the list. As many as 56 grievances were computerised and acknowledgements were given to the applicants.
Mr. Ravi Chandra asked the officials to do the necessary follow up to address the grievances at the earliest.
Later, Pausami Basu, who took over as Municipal Commissioner of Rajahmundry, met Mr. Ravi Chandra in his chamber.
