Here at the Arora theatre in Matunga, Mumbai, the Ayodhya verdict is completely forgotten. Thousands of people have been lingering around this cinema hall to catch the first day, first show of ‘Robot: Endhiran’.
In fact, the celebrities began the celebration of their favourite hero’s movie at 9 am at Ram mandir where many fans prayed for the success of the movie. With handis of milks on their heads, the fans danced their way through the theatre followed by a chariot that carried the reel of the movie. And at the theatre hall, Rajnikanth’s poster was bathed in over hundred litres of milk.
Fans bowed down to the huge Rajnikanth poster that actually is taller than a three storeyed building. And the poster is adorned with a huge garland of lemons. The entire film hall is decorated with torans of Rajnikanth’s pictures.
After bursting crackers, fans were allowed inside the theatre and each one present there wanted to be the first to get into the theatre, as if they were out to set some kind of a record. They entered in, with loads of cheering, whistles and applause.
Fans have taken a day off from work to make sure to see this first show. like Jerrson Costa who says, “I am a huge Rajnikanth fan. I wanted to advance book my tickets but couldn’t. All the tickets are sold out. But I plan to wait here and catch the 3 pm show.”
