Hyderabad, Dec 1: Rumors and anxiety have been spreading all over Andhra Pradesh as the new Cabinet under Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy will be swearing-in on Wednesday, Dec 1.
Still now, media and other Congress leaders do not have any idea about the size and composition of the new Cabinet. Many of the senior Congress leaders and former ministers in Rosaiah government have expressed the anxiety about their unknown fate.
Meanwhile, the Cabinet membership for YS Vivekananda Reddy, brother of former Chief Minister late YS Rajashekara Reddy, is almost fixed and will swear-in but his portfolio is not yet decided. Andhra media reported that new CM Kiran Kumar Reddy has submitted the list of his Council of Ministers to Governor ESL Narasimhan at 5 am.
The swearing-in ceremony of office and secrecy to the new ministers including a deputy chief minister was scheduled at Raj Bhavan at 10.13 am.
The deputy Chief Minister will be from Telangana. The size of the Cabinet may be small but some media reported that Kiran Kumar Reddy may go for a big Cabinet to satisfy senior leaders and leaders from Telangana region.
The Cabinet formation under new CM became a severe headache for Congress national leadership after the resignation of YS Jaganmoan Reddy. Congress still expects some MLAs may quit in coming days.
YS Jagan on Tuesday, Nov 30 said that Congress was trying to break up YSR family by offering ministership to his uncle YS Vivekananda Reddy.
