Hyderabad, Dec 2: Finally, YS Jaganmohan Reddy broke his 'silence'. Creating more trouble to Congress, Jagan, the son of former Chief Minister late YS Rajashekhara Reddy, has announced the plan to launch new political party.
The Chief spokesman of the Jagan Group, Ambati Rambabu has told the media that YS Jagan will launch his political party soon.
"Jagan will come in front of the media very soon and announce the new party. His new political party will become very strong and replace the Congress party in the state" Rambabu said.
Rambabu also invited other Congress leaders, who are not happy with new Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy, to join the new party.
Earlier on the day, YS Jagan had spoke to Vatti Vasantha Kumar, who resigned as Tourism Minister from the new Cabinet. Vasantha Kumar was not happy with the portfolio he received in the new cabinet.
Meanwhile, Congress national leadership has started damage control measures to protect the new Cabinet. Union Law Minister and AICC in-charge of Andhra Pradesh, Veerappa Moily and Health Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad have spoke to rebel leaders.
Ministers including Botsa Satyanarayana, Danam Nagender, Ponnala Laxmaiah, Kasu Venkatakrishna Reddy and K Venkat Reddy are also not happy with portfolio they received.
Now, Congress has to protect flow of their leaders and supporters to Jagan's new party. Sources close to Jagan said that the name of the new party would be YSR Congress.
