'Jai Ho' at CWG inaugural ceremony
Oscar winner A.R. Rahman will perform live at the upcoming Commonwealth Games, one of the biggest sporting events to be held in New Delhi from October 2, 2010.
A musical extravaganza, which will include many Indian and international artistes, will mark this event. Many celebrities from sports, Bollywood and politics are expected to participate in the inaugural ceremony.
Meanwhile, the latest buzz is that Rahman will rock the inaugural ceremony of the Commonwealth Games with his chartbusters 'Jai ho' (Slumdog Millionaire) and 'Maa tujhe salaam' from his albums. The musical legend will also sing his favourite hymn 'Vaishnava jan' at the event.
Besides this, a 45-minute audio-visual presentation of Rahman's 'Yaro India bula liya' will be aired live.
