Your character Abhay in Break Ke Baad is said to be very similar to you. Is this true?
Yes. I felt an immediate connect with the character. There was something in the character that kind of appealed to me. Overall, his thoughts, motivations and actions in the films is what I would do. As Deepika Padukone and Danish Aslam got to know me on sets, they started telling me that I am actually like Abhay.
Is Abhay a complete contrast to your character in I Hate Luv Storys?
Completely different. The character in I Hate Luv Storys is something I loved. He was just hilarious. I enjoyed playing him. On the one hand, it was fun to play him because he is so different but then I needed to understand him better. Unlike that, I just inherently understood Abhay.
