Daredevil Performs Highest Wirewalk

A daredevil French circus star has performed the UK's highest wirewalk across Newport's river footbridge.

Olivier Roustan's stunt was part of a year-long festival to mark the South Wales city's Ryder Cup host status.
He walked the high wire more than 250ft above the River Usk, covering a distance of 295ft.
The 45-year-old spent two days in Newport in February assessing the safety issues involved.
He was helped into position by three highly-trained industrial climbers, one of whom had flown over from Chamonix in France especially.
Roustan has previously scaled the Cathedral of Albi near his home city of Toulouse, which is the largest brick building in the world.
