South Indian Actor Murali dies at 46

News Desk: Breaking News! Popular south Indian actor Murali passed away due to a cardiac failure at a private hospital in Chennai this morning. The 46-year-old actor was admitted to Ramachandra Hospital three days ago.

Murali, who had made his debut with the Tamil film 'Poovilangu', was recognised as a star with Vikraman's super hit film 'Puthu Vasantham' in 1990. The actor who has contributed to Indian regional cinema doing over 100 films, takes credit for the films such as 'Idhayam', 'Thanga Manusukkaran', 'En Asai Machan', 'Poomani', 'Ali Thanda Vanam', 'Desiya Geetham', 'Samuthiram', 'Porkalam', 'Vetri Kodi Kattu' and 'Sundara Travels'.


The actor has infact a Kannada origin and had appeared in Kannada film for the first time with 'Prem Parva'. He will be best remebered for his Kannada films like 'Sambavami Yuge Yuge', 'Ajay Vijay' and 'Prem Gange'.


Murali had last appeared in 'Baana Kathadi' with his son this year. He had won the Tamil Nadu best actor award in 2001 for his best performance in 'Kadal Pookal'. He died early of his age leaving his wife Shobha, son Atharva and daughter Kaavya.
