Namitha, who is familiar to the Telugu, Tamil and Kannada audience, was once bored of glamorous roles thus, she stated that hereafter she would prefer performance oriented roles. But, she reportedly, set aside the idea of sticking to performance oriented roles, fearing that her career would take a nosedive. Accordingly, Namitha's latest statement is that she is back again with the consent to accept the offered roles. Therefore, the directors and producers have started approaching her with tailor-made roles. She is currently acting in a Kannada film titled 'Namitha I Love You', which is touted to be a romantic entertainer. Also, she has given her nod for KS Gopalakrishnan's Tamil-Malayalam bilingual.
