Renowned nuclear scientist Dr. Homi N Sethna, who passed away in Mumbai on Sunday night, received a tearful adieu from people in India. President Dr. Pratibha Patil and Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh described the legend in nuclear science as a ‘true patriot’ and ‘an exceptional human being’.

The 86-year-old former chairman of the Atomic Energy Commission N Sethna, had been awarded with the Padma Vibhushan - India's second highest civilian award.
