News Desk: Breaking News! In a significant development, two people were arrested in connection with the German Bakery blast in Pune. The accused were picked up from the Marathwada region in Maharashtra.
The blast took place at Pune's Germany Bakery on February 13, 2010, killing 17 people and leaving 59 people injured. Four foreigners, including two Sudanese, one Italian and one Iranian were among the dead.
According to the investigating agencies, the Indian Mujahideen (IM) and the Pakistan based Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) were involved in the blast. The details of the arrested people are not yet known.
